For a long time, cotton mills have evaluated the performance of paper rollers by reviewing grinding cycles and measuring yarn quality. In fact, long-term practice has proven that by testing the elasticity of rubber rollers, one can quickly understand their performance.
The elasticity of paper rollers can affect the quality and level of sand production, as well as the lifespan of the rollers. Under the same pressure, a good rubber roller will have a larger contact surface with the cotton strip, providing a more stable grip and reducing the risk of fiber channel creep and sagging, resulting in a longer service life. Cotton mills can evaluate the elasticity of rubber rollers by qualitatively comparing their elastic recovery time.
Test method: calibrate the pressure of the shaking frame, apply pressure to the rubber roller in a stationary state until a roller print is generated, and then the time for the fingerprint to disappear. The shorter the time, the better the elasticity. There are generally two types of recovery methods: static recovery, placing the rubber roller with pressure marks in a random state, and timing the time when the tactile sensation disappears; Dynamically place the paper roller with pressure marks on the textile yarn and pass the time for the pressure marks to disappear at regular intervals.
